^^^^ Obviously I couldn't think of a title AGAIN! This was just a card for Fathers day a few weeks ago. I do have a few creative things on the go atm and I will take photos if I ever finish any of them!! But for now this will just have to suffice!
.... Because he is so beautiful and because I feel this blog needs some kind of update!
This photo was taken last Summer - it is a bit too chilly to be letting him run round the back yard all wet and starkers lately ... although if he had his way I think that is exactly how he would like to spend all his days!
Another little something for the bare walls using that transfer technique. I went a bit overboard on the feminine stuff here (I just can't help myself) so I'm thinking this one is going to have to be hidden away in my craft room as I really don't think this is quite to Marks taste. :-D

It's not a matter of there being nothing creative happening around here, It is just a matter of me being too lazy to blog about it!:-)
I spent a gorgeous sunny Sunday afternoon trying to get some shots of my boys happily playing in the back yard. Heath still has a camera obsession and just screams and cries if I don't share it with him. So after he had his usual tantrum and stole my sunnies and threw them on the ground I found that this was the only thing to take a photo of that was actually willing to cooperate with me.
Until he realized that I was having a bit too much fun doing that without him too!
I have done an experiment that actually turned out OK! I am pretty tired of looking at all the blank walls around the house, I have so many ideas of what I want to hang on them but the shops are just not producing what my head is imagining! I confess that it has been quite a few years since I had done a canvas and the old dark moody tattoo inspired ones produced in my teens just aren't doin 'it for me anymore. While working on a much larger one I thought I would give an old transfer technique a go. So I dug out these 6 little canvases that i have had stashed away for years and wouldn't ya know ..... it bloody worked!!!! I loved them so much I even made the frame all by myself (well Heath did help a bit) It is not perfect by any means but I'll just label it shabby chic and that will make it acceptable ;-) . I also used a metallic paint so in the right light they really shine. Now I have so many ideas I can't wait to start some more!

This is the card I made for my Mother for Mothers Day a few weeks ago .... a little late, but she was off gallivanting across the countryside doing the whole 'gray nomad ' thang at the time.
This is my big boy ready for his first day at 'school' (day care) a few weeks ago, he has grown so much in the last year. He has grown out of most of last years winter clothes - even though i do try and buy all his clothes a couple of sizes too big ..... it is sad that he is growing so fast and becoming more independent, he really isn't my little baby any more .... he is an adventurous, imaginative, inquisitive, talkative and very active boy and I couldn't be prouder!
... and BOISTEROUS - very, very ..... BOISTEROUS.
.... and the massive bag only has a small cot sheet for 'rest time' and a change of clothes but displaying your superhero appreciation is of the utmost importance dontcha know.
I really dislike using the full auto function on my camera and avoid using the flash if I can but somehow when taking pics of my gorgeous blond boys in low light they come out looking like little ginger ninjas. Don't get me wrong I loooove red heads but I am so proud of having my blond beauties as I think they are they only ones this fair in my immediate family - we are all brunettes .... DOH! ......I think I just let my secret out ........ my hair is natural I swear!!!!!!!!
Please excuse the tired eyes, double chins and complete lack of enthusiasm for having my photo taken at 5am after no sleep and hours of labour (was also still sky high on gas and pethidine). I Photoshoped the dickens out of this photo and I still cringe when I look at it - why didn't I smile for goodness sake? ... A little exhausted maybe or my face was just totally numb - probably both! :-)
I don't do lo's of myself much, it does feel a bit weird looking at images your own mug while trying to create something worth looking at! But I had done a similar LO for Brocks album and felt I should have one in Heaths album as well.
When it comes to writing something witty and interesting I draw a complete blank! Good grief, my life isn't THAT boring ........ Well maybe it is a little! From what i can tell, i have about maybe 3 or 4 people who sometimes read this. So to you gorgeous people much luv and thanx. Here is a picture - looooove this boy!
I thought i would give making my own PS brushes a go and that somehow turned into designing this digi paper. Unashamedly very Prima/Websters inspired. .... very rough but I thinks I likes it! And here it is in a quick LO with the gorgeous Miss T.
I also have a few LOs finished but just too lazy to go and photograph/edit them atm. :-)
A LO First. I did a Digi of these photos a while ago but I wanted to do a LO that i could put in Brocks album. The colours in this one were quite dificult to match up, if I had too much orange it realy made Brock look like a red head. I am happy with how it turned out though!
Mark went a little overboard on the eggs yesterday (he always does) we started out collecting them in the usual basket but ended up having to transfer them all to the tonka truck! ..... I have had to put it all out of reach of the boys so now it is making a lovely center piece on the dining room table! Final Tally; 70 medium, 1 large, 1 extra large and 6 bunny's!
